First time grower, Need advice with feeding

Ok i'm a little nervous about posting but here it goes...

I just started growing for the first time and i'm doing good so far, but don't know what to do next. I've been doing allot of homework and reading allot on here as well as other sources from the net.

I have 4 plants, they are 32 days old and have all reached a height of 7" to 9" tall. Three days ago i transferred them from their temporary pots to their permanent homes, 6 gal pots. I'm growing in doors and right now i'm using a 600 WATT MLH bulb to vegetate. i have a 600 WAT HPS bulb for the flowering cycle. I have a whole room dedicated to my growery, good ventilation setup, i keep the temp around 75-80 daytime and 75-70 nighttime. I've been keeping the plants on a 16 daylight, 8 hour night schedule. I try to keep the humidity around 45 to 50% all times.

I keep the light fixture hanging 2.5 feet from the tops of my plants, i haven't determined the Optimal lamp height yet.

I've been watering the plants with distilled water, i don't have a PH testing kit YET but its in the mail. I've read that i should try and maintain between 6.5 to 7 PH in the soil as well as water. before i use the water i let it sit with the cap off of the container, i was told that will help anything i don't want to evaporate off.

I'm still completely lost as to when and how should i FEED my plants? Is this a solution i mix and poor into the soil? Is folair feeding the method i'm looking for? I've been reading about the mixture of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium but am still lost.

Lastly, i'm using Miracle gro soil i bought from wal-mart. The bag advertises it feeds plants for up to 3 months. I don't know if that applies to what im growing or not.

any help here would really be appreciated, I'm growing because i live in an area now where its really hard to find bud and i just don't want to have to deal with anybody anymore for it. I'd rather grow my own in the privacy of my own home for my own use.

The first guide you posted a link too, i actually saved the whole guide to my PC in a floder and have been using it as a reference source.Thank you for the link to the second, reading it now.

Here's my 2 cents. Im a noob, but Ive read alot on this site. :nomo:
Dont add any nutes to the MG soil until your girls show they need something. MG can be really aggresive and unrelaible nute release into the soil.
Tap water left out for 48hrs to dechloronate may be a better choice than distilled. Because you arent/cant add nutes, they girls are gonna need micronutrients. Distilled doesnt have any, tap has some.
If you are wanting to keep them in the pots and not risk transplanting stress again, Just use the "dont love them to death" idea. Too much anything is death. Too little anything can be fixed. :)
Is purchasing another soil and transplanting an option?
I hope I helped you a little! :goodluck:

Transplanting is not an option right now, i'll have to stick with the Miracle grow and method using Miracle grow unless they die. I absolutely cannot use my tap water, would spring water suffice? I get constant notifications on my door saying " do not drink the tap water today" on top of tasting/ smelling horrible.

However, for the next set of plants i will be using whatever the best recommended soil is. Miracle grow was my beginners mistake.

Thank you for the replies so far, I've been feeling completely in the dark on everything so far

Dont worry. You found this site, and the exclent people here will get you through best we can. :circle-of-love:
I suggest doing a grow journal and logging the activity with Pics. Us smokers like pics. :) Heres a couple links to get you started:
How to grow the Chronic
How to start a grow journal
How to post pics

Also remember, any high stress causes slower growth for a period of anywhere from 1-2 days, to a week. So make sure you always give her time to recover from any problems. With a Journal, more, much more experienced growers will chine in with advice and observations. Make sureand list all the details you can so they dont have to ask 10 questions to answer one.
I think you are gonna be fine sir. Just sit back, do some reading, and enjoy the forum my friend. :)

Got some pics, still dont have the PH test kit though. I was wrong about how long they'v been planted it's only been 24 days. I changed the lighting schedule from 14 hours of light to 16. I noticed towards the end of their day they start to droop, this normal?
I dont know what stain they are, i just ended up with a few seeds from good bud, i know they might not turn out good its all i had.

Looking good sir. My first thought about the droop would be heat. Whats the air temp right before lights out? Just a guess.
How tall do you want your end plant to be? Them girls 'stretch' up to 3x as big as they are now during first few weeks of flower. Looks like you are doing good. :) Have you considered a grow journal so that many more experinced growers can see it and offer advice? Heres a link on journals :HOW TO MAKE A GROW JOURNAL

Well during the day it can reach 85, at night when i turn the lights off it sits at 80 and usally tapers off to around 72-77. I'm using my houses A/C system to regulate the temp. We live in an area where we don't really need it, and our thermostat just happens to sit feet from the grow room door. So what i did was went around the house and closed all the vents so the A/C only vents into the grow room, and it seems to work pretty good. I can see a temp drop/ raise in the gauges within 10 minutes of external thermostat adjustment. I'm going to start a grow journal now.

Also in my pics the plants look weird, my phone takes horrible pictures they're actually a much brighter green than that. In my pics the plants look like actual weeds lol.
