First time grower, hungry for info

Hello, just starting my first attempt at growing, Have a 4 x 4 x 6.7 tent with a 315W CMH light, Have 2 cuttings and some seedlings that have just popped out of the soil. Have my light approx 2’ away. Is this too close?

Welcome to 420 magazine, that all depends does that cmh have an adjustable dimmer. Set it to 50% for seedlings .

No it doesn’t have a dimmer,

I’m using led , do you have any pics of the start . Like Angry Bird posted for a journal about your grow . Plenty help here especially if you have a journal.
I run led from seedlings to veg to flower but it’s adjustable.

Hey there!

I run my 315s at about 20 inches away right from sprout. Growth is nice and dense. No stretch.

I let them grow into the light and typically don't have to move it for a month
