First Time Grow

Started with 50 seeds supposedly f-1 high breed. I am in the second month and in my first week of flowering I have lost about ten plants and I also went to a dispensary and picked up 12 clones. I also found 7 males and I have a couple still not showing definite signs of sex yet. Will post pictures soon of the different stages. I am having a problem with one plant the leaves look weak kind of wrinkly and edges curled up cant figure out the problem flushed the soil this Mormon hoping that's the problem. I am currently using 3 1000 HID lights in a 14x7 shed I have 6 lights but not enough power to run everything.

Forgot to mention what kinds I'm growing the F-1 hybrids are platnium OGx Ken dog and my clones are Berkeley blues, purps, elephant my tallest plant is about 2 feet. Everything is in 3 gallon pots with ekco organic soil and I'm using technaflora nutrients.

50oz! SICK wish i could do that some day, i might actually be close to something similar. Time will tell... Pound per light should be achievable, i did read that you work commercially for someone, have you grown for yourself before? Sounds like quite the first grow if that's the case. This is my first grow and I'm working with a dispensary in a way and I have been talking with another grower then found this forum which is awesome because growing is fun to talk about and fun to do I want to expand into stable breeding in the future we shall see. But hope to sell to dispensaries when everything's all said and done and grow some amazing grass.

Pulled out two more male
Plants this morning bringing me to 9 males and 21 females, not sure if I want to pull clones or start more seeds. There was a power outage this morning jumping my temperature up to 93 had to kill the lights early to try and reduce the temperature hope there's no issues with that will know more tonight. When I turn them on and examine my plants and water etc...

Plants are looking nice and happy. Have you looked into LST'in some of your younger seedlings? You've got lots of light so your not worried about penetration but it will give you more tops. Myself i would probably go the clone root so as to not slow your goal of 50oz.

Lst'in? Not sure what that means, I'm assuming the 21 plants I have now will produce 2 oz each so I will probably end up with 42 but not sure why to expect only hopeful. We are just ending my first week of flowering. If you mean like super cropping I'm not sure if I'm ready to start those kinds of experiments yet also all of my plants are

Do you think my estimates are a little
High for yield? I was just estimating given the light , your plants look freaking amazing compared to mine.

Take a look around in my journal to learn about LST(Low Stress Training.) It will help you ultimately achieve more yield. And with all that light WOOOHOOOO!. def take a couple minutes to read through my journal. And theres a lot of other LSTs on this site, almost everyone uses some form of LST but ill go get u a pic of a basic LST chart. one sec brotha

Trying to find a good vid on the tube for you, LST: low stress training. Yeah don't kill your males grow them out and save the pollen and freeze it.

by changing the light cycle when in flower mode you can make the plants go hermie.

thats my Angel heart #1 (3 months ago when it was first LST'd, NOW ITS HUGE. lol to my newbie self at least haha)
