First time and just wanted to make sure everything is alright.

Just started my first grow. I can't stand dealers at least the ones near me and I really need my medicine so I just started some plants. I have two in the solo cups. Put the germinated seeds in about about 7 days ago. My friend had to watch them and he had them 24 hours of light which I think was wrong but whatever. They look pretty healthy. Two different strains. Are they too close or too far away from the light? When should I transplant?

I've read tons of things and watched a bunch of movies but I just want to make sure I don't screw it up too much.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

They are completely green and look healthy but as this is my first time I just want advice. One has a paper clip because it looked like it was going to start growing sideways kinda.

im no pro but i would add more soil and get that light as close as pssible ,that is if its a flouresent.and also would not use clear cups.

Should I really transplant to non-clear cups at this point? Would it be worth the risk of damaging the plants? I was probably only going to transplant once and to much bigger containers. For soil should I add soil at the top or underneath?

How close should I put the lights (inches)? I can get them as close as needed so just tell me what you think would be good. I don't want to overwater either but I'm guessing if I put the lights closer I should water a bit more?

add soil to top .dont transplant, just stick cup into another colored cup or wrap it with something.they say lights are bad for roots . as for light distance, if its a cfl or flo. tube no more than 2inches away just not touching.

Has given you good info but please get some air movement going on with a fan or something to help strengthen them up.
