First grow

Well this is my first grow. Plants are in the second week of bloom phase after a 4 week vegetation phase. The plants are starting to become bushier. What do I need to do to improve plant yield. I dont fully understand LST guides

Hey ThunderThx! :welcome: to the 420mag website.

You're too late to use LST as a training technique (see my signature for the LST thread), so at this point it's all about light and plant health. Keep it happy (it looks great right now!) and give it good light and you will get the best yield you can.

It doesn't look like you've done any thinning lately, and many growers do that at the 21 day point after flip. Is that something you were considering for next week?

Oh, and is this an autoflower or photoperiod plant? How it's handled in flower will depend on what type it is.

I'm growing feminized white widow, gold leaf and L.A. confidential. Ive changed the lighting to 12/12 from 18/6. Ive trimmed a few leaves at the top covering other stems (only about 4 per plant) I was afraid to trim too much. I was looking at it thinking I needed to trim more. Is there a rule of thumb to go by?

Looks like you are doing much better than lots of first grows that I have seen... What medium are you growing in? Soil? Organic? Hydro?
