First Grow

Hi guys, this is the result of my first grow after about 4 months.. never really counted.

Does this look the way it should look when it's almost ready for harvesting?

I started with a seed that I found in a bud I had bought and then I didn't expect it to grow, but it did.. However I never bought special lamps (I only used a 11w fluorescent light I had at home from my desk.. ) and never bought any extra nutrient either (only soil and added brow sugar twice week for the past 2 weeks)..

Although my apartment gets a lot of light due to the huge windows on the roof and walls.. I read that even when it's cloudy, that amount of light is better than most lights.. it improves on sunny days, of course..

Believe me, I'm in Ireland and it's possible to grow without all those lights (I think)!! lol

Here are a few pics from 2 days ago.. Let me know your thoughts.. any tips, comments, I dunno.. something that might help next time or to make sure this one is looking the way it should look.

Hey, thanks for replying to my message!!

The pistils were getting too brown.. more than 70% of them were like this and I read that isn't good to have all the pistils brown?

I took these pics with my camera on super macro.

I have another yoke here where I can check but I think this is good enough..

Have a look..

they are 70% milky, 20% clear and 10 redsh

Nice pic's...it's normal for the pistils to change colour as they reach final stage maturity...lots of people would harvest with trichs like that...but...others would hold out for some more amber trichs...depends what you're looking for...generally more amber=more couch lock...you could quick dry a small bud and do a taste test(although a slower dry is preferred)...bear in mind that taste and smell would not be indicative of a properly dried and cured product...cheerz...h00k...

hahah man, just to let you know! OMG it's soooo strong!!! really good to smoke!! thre is no much smell on the bud tho, only after using the grinder.. probably it will get a stronger smell after leaving it curing for a few weeks
