First Grow: Sour Diesel, Outdoor 2020

Update: Put a big bowl with water in the tent. It hasn't done much. Have to find a bucket somewhere. Plant is doing great though (I think). It's just starting to relax now...in the picture below.

Fed her 4 tbs Dr Earth Bloom this morning and added some compost top dress.

I've been finding a ton of flys in the tent since adding the compost so I hope I didn't introduce pests/fly eggs by doing that. Took the majority of the compost out of the pot as soon as I noticed the large amount of flys. Thinking I'll probably need sticky traps soon?

RE: RH/temps, yeah just do what you can at this point! Try searching up homemade humidifier or something - I'm sure people have tried lots of different methods to deal with this. Maybe the body of water needs some means of dispersal like a fan pointed at it or something.

The other thing you can do which is labour-intensive is misting the inside of the tent every hour or so. Not very sustainable though!

As for the compost, I'm not sure eh. It depends on what pests come along and whether they prefer the compost or the plant!

Airflow seems poor. Think I should definitely get a fan soon. They can be quite noisey though.

Honestly, I can't see any of the usual signs of heat stress! So good news for now.

We'll have to keep a closer eye out when the buds are forming though!

Will keep an eye out for sure! Weather has finally been cooling down lately which is nice. It's been asking for water every other day at this point (slight wilt). I remember Emilya saying not to let it dry out completely during flower, to give it all she can take. The stretch seems to have slowed. The buds are starting to come in quick now. Also went in and defoliated a few of the bottom tiny leaves.
