First Grow: Sour Diesel, Outdoor 2020

For sure. Will take some more tomorrow.

I thought ladybugs only stick around until they're done eating. Predator mites are another option I'm considering..

Yeah I forget that you're growing outdoors!

You can also look into neem oil and diatomaceous earth as preventative measures.

Day 42

Still too early to tell I think. They're showing noticeable growth every day since topping.

There seems to be a kind of mottled pattern on the leaves - can we get a closer shot Abstrakt?

Thanks for pointing that out syenite. I've just sort of ignored it...Hopefully these help...I'm thinking calcium deficiency or pests of some sort?

Hmmm yeah looks like it could be a pest issue! You will want to look closely all over the plant, especially the undersides of leaves, for the actual culprits. A magnifying device would help, like a jeweller's loupe or a macro lens camera/phone.

Could be thrips or mites or something.

My first mitigating action would be a foliar spray of neem oil! But best to try and identify the pest first.

Will be getting some neem oil and spinosad very soon. Got to looking with a microscope and found a bunch of thrips.

Heh yeah thats kinda what I was thinking but I swear I see pistils on a couple leafs. Try looking close at the 3rd picture? Zoom in close to the preflower on the right side.

Its bag seed and only have one plant so its a hard draw. Plan to buy some autoflower seeds asap to try and make something from this season.

Second and third look like new growth, the first is looking like the first sings of sex but hard to tell

Thanks dude. I'll wait and see. Luckily I don't have anything that will be in jeopardy if it is male. It reeks whenever I play with it. Even if it is male I hate to kill it..
