Hey guys, after doing some training in the garden today I noticed two plants had some preflowers, as this is my first grow I'm not sure if they're far along enough yet to determine sex from but my anxious self figured I'd snap some pics and get some opinions! :cheertwo:

We're going on roughly week 7 for these two plants.

Plant #1:

Thanks any help :)! The second may for sure be too early, and number one kinda looks like balls to me :( hopefully they're not!

Still a little too soon to tell, but it will show very soon. You'll either see the calyx's start to multiply (male) or they will have 2 tiny white hairs emerge (female).

Early signs look promising. I find that female tend to tuck that circled calyx nicely into the crook there all branches meet and male just let it all hang out the side. This pic should help

Cool picture, thank you! Bookmarked that for later use, definitely gonna come in handy :)

It looks like a new branch/leaf to me. Can't see the stalk (male) or the two hairs (female). Maybe you can.

Thanks for the replies everyone! :thanks:

I decided to check plant #2 again today and noticed a small white hair protruding from the preflower, it's almost impossible to get in picture but in person I can clearly see it, more hopeful this one is female day by day now :).

As far as plant #1 goes, it's older than the second so I'm starting to think it's male for the simple fact of not seeing any white hairs and only what appear to be balls, but both are still very early and might go either way and surprise me; thinking I should really be able to tell within another week so I'll be more patient :).

Thanks for the pictures. I always enjoy the guessing game

Keep us posted.
