I have really enjoyed reading all of your posts, and there is no way I could have done this without the community.
So why am doing this? Well thought it would be fun.
The person I usually get my smoke from is a flake and I wouldn't trust him with a potato gun. So after getting the run-around from this guy I had to get the goods from another friend of mine, he gave me some of his stash. Nice dude!
Have no idea what it was, he said something like "SuperSonic", anyways there were a few seed mixed in so I planted them in a little dirt, I got outside, and put them next to the window, and next thing I knew...
Day 10
I had an extra shop light laying around so I used it. Dumb luck that it was a 150W 6500K CFL. Man all of the lighting options are really confusing. HPS, MH, CFL, T*, LED...
I transplanted them into a little bigger pots from walmat with MG soil. and Home Depot was having a sale on 100W 2700K CLF, for only $ .49 So I loaded up! Again dumb luck, had no idea that was the right bulb. AND I also didn't know that 12/12 flowered the plants. They have been on 12/12 their whole life.
Day 35
After a lot of research I discovered they were root bound.
Day 36
Added some perlite too, they took off, almost an inch every few days.
They started to stink so I decided it was either time to get rid of them or go big and build a box with carbon filter. Good thing I had a free weekend.
Day 41
3/5 were dudes! really easy to tell, if anyone is unsure, just wait a bit longer.
check out how much they grew, amazing! They carbon filter worked great, no smell at all.
I started to notice that I had red stems, so tested the water from my reverse osmosis machine... 7.8!!!! so Now I'm ph adjusting down to 5.7 using vinegar.
Day 53
Looking good! Dont worry about the "pimp my pc" fan, they are on the light timer.

hopefully they will continue to bud.
So far so good, no nutes so far, I'm thinking about adding some tiger bloom, but not sure how that will work with the MG. Any Ideas?
Lots of ideas for my next grow, cant wait to harvest and redo my grow.
