First grow, could use some help

Hey all,
This is my first attempt at growing, I could really use some tips/advice. I found this seed in a batch of sour diesel and thought about germinating it, so I did. I have two other seed germinating that are lav og and berry og. I have attached some pictures this plant is roughly 4-5 weeks w/ 12/ hrs of daylight and 12/ hrs of sleep it has not been fed any nutrients but I’ve been watering it with tap that’s been filtered twice. I’m using a organic coconut plant based soil and water when needed since the soil seems to dry up fairly quickly.
Some of the beginning pictures are of the early stages of the plant the rest are all current.

Your roots have rotted, or failed to develop .......... it's gonna die.
Lots of my attempts in soil ended up like that.

70% Coco + 30% Perlite doesn't seem to get the same problem.

These two planted start of February in the same size pots ..... one in coco/perlite one in soil/perlite.

I know others swear by soil, but it never worked out for me.

Increase your time the lights are on
Should be 18 on 6 off

This should of been on the 18/6 light cycle not 12/12. You probably overwatered her or underwatered her! It's hard to know. That growing medium looks extremely dry. Research more, learn from your mistakes & go again

Have these died? You can try a misted humidity dome so that the new growth can suck up moisture. It might help to outgrow the root issue.

You think 'organic coconut based plant soil' and 'coco coir' are the same?
Maybe it is, maybe it isn't ........... but as OP has rotted his roots, I'm thinking it isn't.

Because he calls it soil, dosent mean it's soil

I’m sure it’s not coco i will try to save it I always can try another grow. I cut the damaged roots and replanted in new soil. Let’s hope it goes Better and I’m also doing a 18/6 cycle
