Mary - Day 107
12/12 Started 10/3/2015

I didn't look at her closely this morning. My sleep schedule is all out of whack here I'm stuck in lazy. Partial harvest is scheduled to begin Friday.

"Stuck in lazy" -- dear lord, that resonates with me, lately :) Could be the change in seasons, but that's the best way I can think of to describe it!

I'll be here to follow your harvest --to hear you and Sue trade tea drinking stories -- can't wait!

Well, I did manage to get something done today. The bathtub is now clean. 30 gallons of mix cooking. I'm prepping for my next grow. If my beans ever get here, it will be all autos. There was nothing important in the mail box today.

I still enjoy the tea but it's not long lasting and not very intense of a high. It's just pleasant tea.

My tea was a kicker, and lasted for a good four hours of serious zip. How old were your stems Jim? Most of what I used for mine was still green. Most of what I have yet to process is much dryer. I'll have to do a comparison. Ooooo..... I have time to start that now.

Later. Off to give it another try with older stems and a mint tea bag added for flavor.

Stems were old. 15 years or older perhaps.

Looking good, how much left before harvest? Tea infused with cannabis stems gets you stoned? Geez, this site really is the meccanabis.

A portion of her has 2 days left..... "Duntodundun"

The good thing is that I have saved the very best bud of my street weed so I'm just not in such a hurry today. I guess things could change but I'm committed to harvesting part of it Friday.

Mary - Day 111

Partial Harvest Day

Spitz suggested taking the emotion out of this portion of my first grow so I planned to harvest a couple colas today. When I looked at her this morning I had second thoughts but decided I would do this for the experience.

Hanging in the tent for now. I'll put them in a shoe box later today to finish.

There.... Doesn't that feel sweet? :laughtwo: Dance with me Jim. Your first!! :woohoo:

:yahoo: :slide: :slide: :yahoo:

Aw, Mary :) She was one of the first plants I met when I joined 420magazine. Was it hard for you to cut her?

It was difficult indeed. But the thought of going back to the street dealer and ponying up $40 USD not knowing the quality and arguing about the quantity was the kicker. Chop Chop I say.

Here's bad news for today. Some asshole stole my seeds at customs

Aw, crap. That happened to me (only with Canadian Customs, of course) I bet someone is growing our weed, man! Did you buy from someone who will reship? Herbies reshipped my seeds in an untracked package and it got here okay. Makes me a little nervous about buying from outside my country, though.

Chopping Mary, whom you raised from seed, is certainly better than buying cannabis on the street. It's the biggest reason I wanted to grow my own -- control over the product and no more dealers. I'm sure she'll give you some great medicine, MJ :)
