Hey guys whatsup! To have my own grow has been a dream since i was a lil kid, but its been hard reaching it since it's strictly against the laws to do shit like that here where i live. When my girlfriend told me her mom was gonna buy her a house quite far up the countryside for me and her to live in, i thought eskeeeetiiit.
I'm growing in a 4x4x7 with an exhaustion fan 380CFM with a carbonfilter.
Light im using is a 600w HPS with an XXL aircooled reflector and a dimmable ballast.
I've also got a humidifer and an EC that you fill with water that i put in the corner of the tent to cope with the high temps.
The nutrition im using is FLORA GHE TRIO. Following the recommended dosage from growweedeasys guide about it.
Growing in a Coco/perlite mix 30% perl.
Seeds im using is 2 Northern Lights, 2 XL skunks.(Feminized)
Anyway i got all my gear set up while getting the seeds germinated in wet towel paper. I waited a few days before checking on them and once i did, it looked really good. I then put them each into 5 gal smartpots filled with a coco perlite mixture. I didn't use any nutrition at the first few days (dunno if thats necessary or not). It took about 2-3 days until i started noticing them glimpsing through the soil.
The last few days, (Think im on week 1) they've been growing pretty quick and healthy i'd say and are now about 2-3 inches high with the second sets of leaves about to sprout. Humidity has been at around 53-65% while the temperature has been quite steady at 74F. I read afterwards that CFLs is the best for seedlings but I didn't have possibility to get that at the time so I'm using my HPS but dimmed it down to 250w while i try to keep them about 2ft away from the plant at all time, while i have 2 oscilliating fans that hopely will remove any heatpockets that would appear. I have been watering them like once or twice everyday. I spray water in a circle around them and try not to overwater them, then i wait until it's absolutely dry in the soil one knuckle down then i re-water it. I've read that i should circle between regular water and nutritioned water every day.
I will be posting pictures in some days because my camera is troubling atm. Hopefully this goes well and if not i hope there are some kind people out there that could let me in on some helpful advice as i go along. Peace guys
