I have decided to start my autos. I recently recieved 5 White Widow Autos and 5 Bubbleicious Autos from Nirvana Seeds. The stealth packaging they come in is pretty bitching. I'm going to start with 2 of each because of limited space. So to start I soaked 4 rapid rooter plugs in water the pHed at 6.6, probably around 100ppm. I put the seeds pointy side down in the rapid rooter plugs and placed them on a little pad of soil in a bowl. I decided to add soil so i could pack it around the bottom to give the plugs some stability. The soil is a 1:1 mix of perlite and seeling soil. Its what i had mixed up from when I was taking clones the last go round. So no real nutrients in it. Covered it with a cut off 2 liter bottle and poured a bit of water around the outside. I cut a little off of two of the plugs so I could tell who was who. I've got them locked in a dog kennel, to keep the cat away, with a heater on low pointed away from them. I'll be throwing a blanket over it as well. Once they sprout I'll put the bowl in my veg tent for a few days before placing them in their final homes. After doing some reading I decided on 3 gal smart pots. My flower room will be vacant in about 4 weeks so hopefully I timed it right.
