Finally someone else growing Cookies Kush, mine are in dwc but if you could do a smoke and bag appeal when you're done with them that would awesome, would like to compare the cookies on soil vs hydro, you should be able to kick dwc in the ass with taste, so far my cookies has been a very beautiful pheno, wide, luscious, high ridged leaves, kind of want to keep my trimmed fan leaves they were so pretty compared to some other strains, lots of indica in this one. I'm going 12/12 in about a week, keeping it short this time, going for quality not quantity, been vegging for 4 1/2 weeks now, fimmed, lst'd, very resilient, will be checking in from time to time! Here is my cookie ---

Holy shit tangerine dream outside? I wish we had long seasons like that here. Probably won't finish until November but should be a beast!
I saw a pic of TD outdoor once that was 15 feet tall and ten feet across at finish, though it vegged for almost a month before it went outside.

How long are your days there now? In thought it was still too early to start outdoor until days are at least 15h long or it will start blooming now?

Hey crash32097,I really like what you are doing there sir they look good.I have all always been a soil outside guy.I get so impatient waiting on the right time to move them outside.A good rule of thumb for my location is right around easter.I moved the ladies outside at 7 days old the nights still get about 49 degrees but warms up nicely to around 78 degrees. The majority of these girls are 17 days old.Looks like it will be a long run with some of these but I love the anticipation!:thumb:Good luck

Hey OttawaGreen,My days here at around to 14 hours right now.By midsummer its about 15 1/2.Gonna have to keep most of these girls to around 6 ft.lol Should be fun playing with them.:smokin2:

Top them twice at least, that should give you a plant that's 2-3 feet lower than normal one.

I would recommend FIM over topping. Best case it gives over twice as many tops as topping does, worst case, if you do it wrong it IS topping so there is zero to lose. Also instead of waiting until the plant is huge and wasting the whole top as many do, start fim right away, that way there is way less waste and the plant is wider and flatter. Instead of wasting all that growth to cut the top off and make a clone, take the clone from an unnecessary bottom branch later when it is bigger.

Personally I start fim when plant is 6" tall or so then fim all the tips every second node until I have enough tips. Can easily do 30+ on a 1.5 foot tall plant.

After 3rd or 4th node.

Looking good, third week of flower, stretched up into my lights so I had to tie all the colas down, think I got the sativa dominant strain, starting to smell pretty good, getting a purple tint to some of the sugar leaves now! So far so good! With all the negative things I've heard about Barney's farm I guess I'm glad it's not a hermie, yet!

I get the feeling yours will blow mine away, hope your pheno is a good one! Id love to grow outside, I read that soil grows increase the terps and really bring out the flavor. The natural sunlight should boost your trich count too, no uva and uvb for me, I'll pop back in and check it out, really interested in seeing this one!

Wow those girls sure did stretch!:jawdropper: I have topped mine twice except for the auto's in the pots so there shouldnt be an issue with the height. The auto's are starting to bud really nice and are really stinky, they should be ready by the 3rd week in june!:slide: but the cookies kush plant has a really fowl smell I havent smelled before. Its gonna be a really bushy girl with a more indica look to me.All my seeds are from Barneys farm and I only had 1 not to make it or maybe 2,hell I cant remember. They have all been getting the fox farm trio nutes.:MoreNutes:Sorry about the sideways photos but Im sure you will manage.

Damn, looking awesome bro, I've never personally smoked an auto but it looks good! Do they seem to be equal to a normal photo period plant? Id think they would be not as strong because of the ruderalis gene mix but they look like they would knock me on my ass! I'm gonna run a white widow Max next then I think I'll run an auto in a separate box, always wanted to try one. Eventually when I get more space I can run multiples but I'm limited to one at a time for the moment, also wanna get a platinum led p300 to replace my cfls. No amount of light will compare to full, natural light, but I do what I can! Yet again Yours are looking like champs man!

Thanks crash, I've only grown auto's one time about 2 years ago and had to terminate the grow early. The white widow and candy kush auto's I have right now are extremely vigorous growing girls. The calayx's are the size of a pencil eraser. They are starting to frost up nicely and stink like nothing I have ever grown. The candy kush smells like strong paint thinner and a lemon drop. The white widow is rank as hell cant even describe it.This year I promised myself not to water too much and it has really paid off. All my girls look really hardy and reach hard for the sunlight.Really thinking about doing some more auto's before good growing weather is gone. I am sold on these auto's!

Looking good Tony. I have 4 clones in five gallon buckets, topped, and tied down. I also have a good looking seedling in a nicer container I'm going to try to turn into an ornamental, and practice some aggressive training techniques. Have fun dude.
