I noticed that a fan i had directly on the plants hardly grew compared to the ones next to it that were not getting blown on... does anyone know if it slows the growth down?

So how do you get them stems huge like they are now without directly blowing on them and what is causing them not to grow

the fan has to oscillate,or else the plants are in a wind storm, and they stress..

or Like STOP has suggested, bounce it off a wall, keep air moving

this only happens when they are small plants. the plant produces culite . witch makes a plant sturdy to cope with the wind.once this has been triggered .job done . your fan or fans are now just for air movement. they dont get thicker at a later age .(like yours) from a fan blowing on them. hope this helps you buddy
