I have juvenile myoclonic epilepsy. I have had it my entire life but was not diagnosed until several years ago. When I was sitting in the doctor's office, as he was prescribing some very dangerous medication for me, I asked him, "What do you know about marijuana as treatment for epilepsy?" He replied that it did work very well for some of his patients, but that he could not prescribe it or legally recommend it because it is ILLEGAL.
So, I tore up my prescriptions and began smoking herb on a daily basis. My seizures have MUCH improved and I have no need for any other type of medicine.
