you can get a bigger reflector and get some bigger bulbs CFL's come in sizes up to 420 watt full spectrum ..I bought 200 watts at home depot $10.00 each,..

reflectors about the same price

200 watt bulbs for $10? im asumming you mean the 65 watt bulbs that are 200 watt equiv.. and if not... im off to home depot right now.. lol

ya i'm still about 3 weeks from bloom. I found a tomatoe cage with 4 sides and i bought 2 of them. 2 sides overlap from strength and to reduce size a little. while i was running 4 65W 4100K, i got very bushy growth, almost too bushy. about an inch between each node. now that i have 6500k and 5000k (23W)surrounding it(attached to the cage), i've noticed the branches really reaching for the 6500k. already looking forward to the second grow. i'm about 5 weeks into my grow, and i plan on a scrog so that i'm more familiar on the second grow once i have my aeroponics and led's. i still have the 4100k going and will probably keep it that way for the whole grow. i started with fimming the top and the bottom half, yesturday i fimmed the rest. i'll post a pick in a week once its had a week to clean up and train a bit. peace!

ok i was reading and it said you need 3000 lumens/square foot. seeing as my space is barely 1x1 im assuming with 3500 lumens between the two lights is sufficient?

yeah i got cha but im in an apartment and i dont want our bill to skyrocket..so im just using whats necessary, tight budget

where i am... a kilowatt cost around 9 cents.

a 26 watt cfl takes 0.468 kilowatts per 18 hour day. which is 14.235 kilowatts per month

which is $1.28 per month to run..

so you currently are running 2 of them, which is costing about $2.56 a month... even if you double that... your bill wont skyrocket :p

plus come flower, if you stuck with the same amount of lights... your bill will drop to

$0.85 cents per light due to running 12/12 instead of 18/6..
