Emergency! Grow Room issue. Need Advice!

Wassup Yall,

....Im worried, Just noticed my 600w HPS Bulb Blew out......I didnt check the garden yesterday..But the light was working the night before....Im in flowering(12/12)2 weeks from Harvest....so imma assume I missed one 12hr period......All i had to replace the light with now was a 600w MH bulb which what the garden is run'n on now....the Girls been use to the HPS bulb since Germ until tonite......Imma replace the MH Bulb tomorrow w/a HPS as soon as the store opens if i can find one...so my question is??

1. Should I expect Hermi's now since i missed a 12hr period?

2. How will this MH Bulb affect my garden now?...My buds are big & frosty.

3. Whats your advice?

Thank you for your response....This is my 1st Grow and I read so much about Hermi's and how sensitive our natural girls are....I was worried...I been checking on them...so far so gud.....What exactly do the girls do @ nite in detail during the "dark period" if you dont mind sharing that with me?

Yeah, you'll be fine. They might even enjoy a little MH for a bit and be better off for it.

Daytime is for growth. Nighttime is for the roots. Missing one daytime isn't going to make a difference. Imagine a super cloudy day in the middle of summer outdoors.

you'll b fine bro, trust me if anyone should have hermies it's me.. lol.. The last week Ive been about 2-3 hrs a day late on shutting my mum room door, so my flowering girls have gotten some xtra lighting after the hps turned off, luckily it is low watt cfl's, but I am keeping a close eye on em. Still no issues with em, And I don't think I'll have any either, but... People stress over a little xtra light, but as ACESstated, outdoors get a ton of xtra light from the moon, and shit like that. These plants are a bit more resilient than most think. Anyway, have fun with it, and hey if they do show a hermie, collect some pollen for later experience use. some good can come from some badat times..

If it happens once or twice you will be OK, but if you get consistent with the light screw ups then I think you start playing with percentages and your chances of a hermie will likely increase.. A surprise hermie sucks, even though the smoke is fine it sucks to have a whole room pollinated by one.. Always keep an eye out for a surprise attack.... It's better to be able to make the choice in keeping it or not rather then the plant deciding for you....
