FDA notified health care professionals and patients that a laboratory analysis of electronic cigarette samples has found that they contain carcinogens and toxic chemicals such as diethylene glycol, an ingredient used in antifreeze.

Here's a link to a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for pharmaceutical grade propylene glycol. Ironically the only hazard associated with is seems to be via inhalation.

420 Magazine will not be supporting these devices until the manufacturers come up with some scientific data to prove their devices are safe for human consumption.
