I have just gotten my seeds from the seed bank, and from what I read it says they are all easy to grow. Can any one confirm this? Also one of them is auto flowering which I've heard good and bad things about. Any advice would be appreciated! Also these are for and indoor grow in a medium sized closet. Thanks!

Ok here are the seeds:

1x Flash - Santa - Regular
1x Dutch Passion - Orange Bud - Feminized
1x Seedsman - White Widow - Feminized
1x Nirvana - AK-48 - Feminized

I think the Nirvana would be my vote, second would be White Widow.

I have to say though that it's more about HOW you grow than what you grow. You need to learn more about proper growing techniques before you pick out your seeds.

Because honestly if you grow well, you can make anything big and strong.

Learn about nutrients, about lighting, about growing materials, and about fighting off pests.

invest in a few good books about growing and talk to other growers as your grow progresses. You need to have basic knowledge before you just choose your seeds.

While you might feel you can just try growing and make your way through it in trial and error, that's actually a much harder way to go than it sounds. You really need to focus more on growing techniques and learning them now.

Also invest in good nutes. I like Advanced Nutrients, but there are many others that will work too.

good luck!

Thank you for the advice. I have read a lot and gotten a lot of help from people on here about how to grow so I feel as though I'm ready to start growing, thats why I went ahead and bought the seeds. I have all the proper lighting, space, nutes, soil...ect. I will start with the ak-48 and white widow and see how they go. I'm getting easy seeds because since I'm so new I want a strong strain that can bounce back fast from any mistakes I may make because of being so new haha. And again does anyone or do you Motherhugger know about the auto flowering seeds?

What exactly are you wanting to know about them?

I know of this one.. Lowryder #2. Its a cross between the autoflowering dwarf, Lowryder, and a variety known for copious resin production, exotic taste and soaring highs (Santa Maria is an indica/sativa mix originally from Brazil). This cross produces compact, bushy very-early flowering plants with prolific budding. The aroma combines the earthy, mossy tones of Lowryder with the wonderfully spicy yet sweet aroma of the Brazilian. This cross is suitable for compact indoor or closet cultivation, as well as outdoors for a very early harvest (end of July to mid August). Yields superior to Lowryder. Flowering is complete after 9 weeks from the seed and it begins since the third. Height is 45-50 cm (17-19 inches). Production is 28-42 grams per plant. This variety is now fully stable and auto-flowering.

Well slizzard you pretty much answered all my questions haha. I have heard some people say that with the auto flowering sometimes its starts to flower when its only an inch or two heigh and that is my only concern with those, I'm hoping that will not happen to me.

Well I'm not any kind of expert on this, nor do i have any serious experience but from what i hear you've got to be really careful with your harvesting time as well, and catch them right at their peak. If you harvest just a week or so too early and its not yet fully developed, or a week or so too late, then its gonna leave you with some low end quality bud. Most of the more experienced growers that i know who i know have worked with autoflowering plants before don't really fool with them anymore. I've never really talked to them about it so I'm not really sure why. I'm sure there are some ppl on this site who are fairly experienced with these strains though. Sorry I can't be of more help.

If you're hearing about autoflowering strains kicking into flower that early it's probably unstable strains they're talking about.

Any decent autoflowering strain will have a pretty predictable time to flowering.

I remember seeing a couple grow journals from a guy using an aeroflow, maybe a year or so ago. I don't remember his name, and it was on a different forum, but he was getting some SERIOUS buds with an autoflowering strain running Advanced Nutrients (like motherhugger was talking about).

I would expect that with that kind of strain the nutes and everything makes a lot more difference since you can't just veg longer if you want bigger plants. It's all about how big you can get them before they kick themselves into flowering.

Well maybe that strain was easy but I kill plants lol. Do they have to be under 24/7 lighting? I tried growing the auto flowering santa strain and it died within 2 days! but the lighting was on 18/6

while i am not experienced with the seeds you have or have grown any other plants other than the bunch i am growing now. pop those seeds and get growing. i was stressed out with starting a grow. it really is not all that hard to do once you get started. i have to keep myself in check all the time. i could just park my butt in front of my grow cabinet and just stare at the plants all day... funny as it sounds... but i bet you will be doing the same. just write everything down in a small journal to keep track of what you are doing so you could adjust if problems do come up. start a grow journal and people will come in a check it out and give you good tips on your grow.

So where yours all regular easyryders? may I ask where you got them? I am struggling with my first grow and haven't gotten far at all its been a long road for me and I need something that has a strong strain and will grow hard and fast. I checked out your grow and it is impressive!!!

i started my autos in 24/7 light but i added nutes way to early (nute burned the plants) overloaded with too much light to soon and had to play catch up. but they recovered just fine. i switched to 20on/4off after 3 weeks or so and i am keeping it there to the end. you should research the light schedule for your particular plant. if you mix different strains you might have to compromise with the light schedule to meet the needs of the plants.

Thanks for the info! I will def get these next and hopefully have a successful grow. You can check out my grow I have the link below. I'm growing 2 lemon skunk and have a white widow on the way.
