Hey all thought id share with you a technique im using to make adjusting my lights hight easier and also give you an unlimited choice of hight.
Its a knot i used to use when abseiling called an italian hitch.
Tie a slip not in one end of your string/rope to attach to your light rig, put in an italian hitch on a hock/bar/carabiner adjust to the hight you need then tie it off so it cant move.
When its time to raise the lights higher, untie the knot, gently pull the side not attached the the lights to desired hight and re tie off.
