Easy Cool Reflector vs 4 sided?

Hi, im a noob and looking to get started. I have my sights on a 400w hps system for a room about 5ft x 5 ft in my basement. The EasyCool 6 is $81 more. I have never grown so i have no idea what is what. Would i even need a easycool for such a small space with a 400w hps? Any help is very much appreciated, thanks
 
It depends on whether heat is going to be an issue. There are other ways of controling heat other than a air cooled hood. I use one on my 1000w system and it doesn't really seem to help that much.
 
I've got that Easy Cool 6" reflector running 1000w in my room and it never seemed to help much. But then I was only using 265cfm fan so that maybe the reason.
