Im new to the grow scene, and one of my plants is budding. Its mid june in Ohio. My plant has little buds all over it. Why? They were started in door for 2 months on a 20/4 light cycle. I put them outside on April 20, they are growing great, all but one. It has half inch buds all over it. It wasnt an auto flower. Bought these clones. Can anyone help me figure this out? Will they continue to bud in the ling days of summer?

It's mid-June here, too ;) .

Yeah, that happens sometimes. If you had waited a little longer so that the outdoor light cycle was closer to what they'd been under indoors, or if you'd decreased the 20:4 light schedule more gradually (in steps instead of abruptly) to match what they'd encounter in their permanent home, I suspect you wouldn't have seen this behavior.

But the days are long right now; the Summer Solstice is almost upon us. It's possible that they're in the "revegging" process right now, I suppose. From looking at the fifth picture, I get the impression that they're receiving light all day long (as opposed to being in a secluded guerilla spot deep in a forest).

In any case, I'd look for them to continue to grow in size, as long as they have access to adequate amounts of nitrogen (et cetera). This would be true even if they're in full flower and don't reveg. Remember, the first part of the flowering phase is often referred to as "the stretch."

Will they continue to bud in the ling days of summer?

Probably not. They might, but more likely will reveg and then start to flower again later, when the days are less ling...

Thank you very much. I thought it could be from the extreme change in lighting when i placed them outdoor so early. I dont have lights set up, and the weather was very mild so i didnt wait late enough to place outdoor, but only one of my plants did this. They are in direct light from sun up till sundown.

Haha. Thanks for info, and for pointing out my typing error. One more question. Since plant is already starting into bud stage, should i leave outdoors to see if re-veg occours or should i move it inside for 12 hours a night and force it to continue budding?

That’s really your call. It may have started the reveg process already, or maybe it will just carry on budding. It’s usually kind of a time consuming thing where they spend about a month or more being confused and putting out funky growth. That can be a drag for the grower when you’re using up electricity waiting for it to do its thing.
I’d probably leave it outside as an experiment.
It could also just be an early budding strain. I don’t mean an auto. Some do start budding in mid to late summer.
