Hi guys quick update on my progress,,,
Well seen as the Alien Gorilla is about ready to flip now,,,,need to move clones out and into new home,,,,here that chest of drawers I posted late summer with this in mind,,,,,enough room to keep a mother plant a short 1 will be kept trimmed to fit lol,,,,but yeah got it all set up an ready to go just waiting on a little clip on fan for inside and to go,,,,,,on my germination station there and yeah the data is all good an holding so far,,,temps 21c RH 55% have cut a few air holes in for fresh air in take,,,,,and will soon see how it goes,,,,got my little Fecida CR600 in there so 65w and it dont give off much heat either has in in built fan,,,,so yeah will let you guys know how it goes,,,,,,,,,

QUICK UPDATE WK1 FLOWER ALIEN GORILLA FEM

So just coming into the end of wk 1 since flip,,,,,all looking well so far just increased the ppms slightly now at 720 an will watch a monitor as she goes an act accordingly,,,following the numbers an what she tells me,,,,,and its done me well so far just leaving her be an just doing my daily data checks an respond to what she tells with her numbers,,,so over the next few wks I will increase ppms slowly upto around wk 5 an the start to tail off with an increase of magnesium as I go to counter led intensity for when i turn light up,,,just been slowly turning it up to balance out increased feeds,,,,more light= more feed is that right guys,,,,so yeah thats the plan for the next 7 days so hope everyone is well an evrything is growing swell my friends

so yeah the laien looking really healthy an growing well,,,,,going to have to do a wkly defol I think as she is squat an getting bushy now,,,so will keep on top of that for good air flow so yeah looking for her stretch some this coming wk so cant wait she has plenty of room so no concerns really happy growing

QUICK UPDATE ON THE ALIEN GORILLA FEM

Just coming to 2wk since i flipped to flower,,,,,,just done a res changed and lowered ppms slightly and will again raise slowly as I go,,,down to 650ppm but so far so good just starting pop some hairs on the budsites,,,so yeah going increase feed an then next wk will the 3rd wk,,,,so will again give her another defol an strip away any lowers that want amount to much,,,,,but all going smoothly so far,,,,,,so hope everyone had a fab wk an alls growing well and happy growing guys an all the best

QUICK UPDATE ALIEN GORILLA FEM,,,,,,COMING UPTO WK3 SINCE FLIP
Yeah she looking really well she got buds popping all over,,,,i might of over done it abit with the LST an Topping etc,,,,as I did expect some stretch from her,,,,so then I could of stretched her out abit more but got no stretch,,,,but she got some good branches an nice thick stem and is solid so she got a frame for a decent harvest,,,colas not going to be massive but I think thats down to how many tops I have popping to many I think esp for such a short squat plant,,,but deffo learned alot an always picking up bits an here an there,,,,an always remembering every plant is different,,,but yeah everything where it need to be,,,,feeding lucas formula 1;2 plus calmag coming in at 800ppm and increasing as I go and Ive been turning the light up a little as i go....temps 21-22c lights on/off 16-17c RH 40-45% and she has got plenty of air movement esp with her being a bushy 1,,,,,I have got some clones going that Ive been learning off trying different things,,,and yeah they are looking healthy,,,,,so yeah cant wait to see how this next wk or 2 goes an how these buds start to stack,,,,,,but going defol and get rid of some of those leaves that arent getting any light an 1s that are covering bud sites,,,

Careful with your space with these hydro buckets hahahaha come look at my current situation with the Malawi hahaha they love the root baths nice looking plants friend.

QUICK UPDATE ON THE ALIEN GORILLA NOW INTO WK4 SINCE FLIP!!!!!!!!!
Yeah so everything going well so far,,,,had no stretch what so ever really,,,,,,wanted well abit of stretch as its abit crowded,,,,,but ive given her a good defol to improve air flow,,,,,buds alls starting to pop now and trichs starting to appear,,,,,,,so keeping up with schedule feed 850ppm temp 21c RH 45% will increase for another 2 wks then start her cut back but will which my data an see what she says,,,,,but yeah she is looking well an going strong cant wait to see how these buds stack up now

You are doing a fine job, and she shows it.

As far as shechting goes, there is a 4 week window from a week before flip to day 20 of flower. If defoliation is done it will have a dramatic effect on how the plant takes the stress.

To get the most out of the stretch period don't defoliate during this time.
If you want to stop the stretch just defoliate during the stretch period and it will reduce the stretch or stop it, depending on the amount of defoliation.

yeah thanks my friend,,,yeah i waited about 4wks after I flipped when I defolled,,,so yeah just going to keep up what Ive been doing so far the start thinking about dropping off the nutes in few wks time,,,its just about letting her do thing now an just watch an take my data an adjust as i go,,,,, its keeping things looking good so far no so thanks for stopping by an hope alls well my friend

She looking really well buds are stacking nicely and starting to get a good frosting,,,,a few pics just before lights on,,,,well just used a ppfd app on the phone an it said i was giving them 1300-1400par so readjust light intensity an height got it at 800-900 par now,,,so yeah this might be why i had no stretch phase but yeah we will see later down the line,,,,but so far so good all looking healthy an growing well,,,I will keep an eye on her an her feeds now ive altered the light,,,as i lowered feeds slightly an gave res change

She just slowed her feeds down,,,so lowered the ppms but yeah she stacking up lovely can wait to how they go,,,as got some good frosting all over an very sticky,,,but yeah looking great,,,,

So she been slowing down the last wk,,,so just changed out her rez,,,,,and dropped feds down to 500ppms an just going to start slowing her down,,,no more feeds from here on out and will just top off with straight tap water here on out,,,,so yeah buds fattening fast an coming along nice,,,got some nice sweet fruity smells coming off her,,,and got some great frosting all over and going strong

Just a few pics of her trich's,,,,yeah alot seem to be cloudy now still a few clear about though but she is progressing nicely,,,she got anywhere from 14 days out and she should be ready for chop,,,so stopped her feeds a few days back an lowered to 500ppms,,,now straight tap water top ups when required,,,,sn buds really fattening up now,,,and she is smelling so fruity an sweet

Yeah she coming along nicely now,,,buds maturing and got some nice colours popping,,,and she covered in a good frosting with a lights out pic,,,so yeah just been checking her trichones they are mostly cloudy now so yeah into her last wk now,,,and she starting to fade with some reds an purples showing,,,

Yeah shes on her last wk or so now,,,,but been abit lazy and i think Ive got some debris in the res,,,,and roots all starting to slime up with the on set of root rot,,,so but would you advise,,,,as ive treated with H202,,,so would you chop now so as not to effect flowers,,,or just try an wait it out with the H202,,,as dont wanna risk damageing the flowers was planned for chop this wk was waiting for trichones they are mostly cloudy a few amber not many though,,,,but dont wanna waste any potency or damage flowers etc,,,so what would you do my friend she coming upto day 60

On her last week, I'd just keep treating with H2o2 until chop. Or you could drought her at this point, let the roots dry out for a few days, then give her one last watering with h2o2.
