Yes since moving to Portland just over a month ago, I am loving it here. What you say about genetics is so true, and I have read great things about the Pacific Northwest genetics. I read they had a good growing season in certain regions of Oregon and actually have millions of pounds of unsold product, driving prices way low. I got some nice, rock hard 19% thc Purple Trainwreck for 3 USD$ per gram. I will be growing outdoor in the home state of Michigan to start this summer, IT WAS LEGALIZED RECREATIONALLY! Stores won’t be in effect for another year but in about 10-20 days after legislation approval, ANYONE can grow 12 plants. And with a 12 plant limit in the good ol’ mitten state summers I will be going absoultely nuts.

Clone Update:
Day 5 since cuttings were taken.
Method: presoaked small pots with distilled water 24hrs in advance to cutting.
Cuttings taken from lower branches.
Cuttings has bottom stem cut on a 45* angle then had the bark lightly scraped off the bottom 1.5” and dipped into rooting powder.
Cuttings were then inserted into the premoistened pots. They got a light misting of the domes and the cuttings then domes placed over top. The domes had 1/2” opening around the entire bottom area to allow good air flow from day 1.
They have been looking healthy and strong. The other day I started exposing them fully to the air. Removing the dome for 30minute interval then inspecting to see if there was any drooping and change in their appearance. After increasing the cycle times and not noticing any changes after 90minutes out in the free world I put the domes back on for the night. It has been another 24 hours with the domes on and they look the same as they did the day prior.
Today we start with an extended exposure time of 2hours out and hoping to see some perky plants after the time is up! If they look the same as the below pictures in 2 hours I will dome them for 1 hour and then remove them for 3hrs next. If they still look good at this point I will pull my domes off for good and store until next cloning time!
Here’s a picture of the cuttings this morning at 9am just as I removed the domes.
Now we wait! I’ll update in 2 hours with how they look! Fingers crossed they look strong and healthy after the 2hrs out.
I’ll be doing a big tent update today as well!
EM1 is starting to frost up already and I want to get up close and personal with EM2 and her mutations for everyone to see !

Clone Update #2
After 2hrs and 15minutes outside of their domes they looked great still!
So I placed their domes back on them for 1hr more and then going for a 3hr stint
. If they look good after the 3 hours I will put the domes away!

Thanks heavenly ! It’s looking good so far I’ve moved a few things around and got the mini tent setup but I need to hook a small exhaust up to it for better circulation.

Thanks my man! I’m hoping it pays off and I can start my cloning experience ! The seedling I can tell is loving the home and the heatmat warming their toosh is making it a really cozy environment for them all!
Hopefully I can say I successfully cloned! Another first for my growers journey !

What What! Dutchman live ! I’m pretty high so forgive any stumbling of words lol.
I also have some photo for you all and a tent/clone Update! So let’s go
Let’s start this off by saying hellloooo !! After lollipoping the other day EM1 seems to be praying for the lights more than ever and is pushing out some beautiful frost! The tent is smelly and great looking
I’m feeding/watering EM1 every other day still but will soon be increasing as she is starting to drink more. My feed is the same per gallon mixture for EM1
-7mL/g calmag
-8mL/g AN pH perfect Bloom A+B
-8mL/g Bud Candy (weeks 1-6)
-8mL/g Big Bud (weeks 2-4)
Big Bud will be finishing off the end of next week. After I finish the Bud Candy, I will switch to OverDrive and finish them off on that for the final few weeks of flower!
EM2 - the mutant ! As you can see in the video down low on her she seems to be wanting to start flowering but all of her tops have that yellow pale growth and polyploids all over! Very interesting but not sure if she’s worth continuing ! Would love some thoughts on her.
So with help from @beez0404 tutorial on cloning I took my first cuttings this week. I did not follow it exactly as I did not have clonex solution so I used distilled water to presoak my small pots of Promix HP. I used Promix Rooting powder.
After cycling the clones in and out of the domes the other day and getting up to an Hr out they seemed great so I left the domes on for a day and today we have proceeded with 2hr and 3hr time intervals outside of the domes !
I hope to become a successful cloner and learn to make my own seeds soon enough! There is so much to learn about these beautiful plants and the fun continues.
Ok soooo! After 3 hours now the “clones” are looking good
you will notice I trimmed a few of the lower fan leaves off and a few tips up top.
Here they are !
So the domes are going to be washed and put away until next time! I think these girls are going to root!
That about sums it up for this update! I hope you enjoy the video update and getting to meet the girls more up close and personal! Let me know what you think about EM2! Cull or not to Cull lol !

I actually say it all the time! My mom uses it regularly and my nanny used to as well so I guess it’s just rubbed off on me lol

Thanks Shed! I’ll take some photos of her upper and lowers to compare but in the video you can see the lowers are looking like they are pushing out pistils but up top they look still mutated and not flowering to any degree yet in week 3 of flower.

And they would've got it from you lot!
Have you considered taking the uppers off and raising the rest of it even with with the big one?

IMO, I would cull her just to give your others more room, if you do, take some of your mutant leaves off before you do and put them in a book flat surface to see if you can save some of those patterned leaves for later.
Your area is so clean, and good job on trimming those clones, they needed it, that's the only way they feed until the roots grow. Plus you want to avoid them touching the edge of your cup so they don't rot. Now that they are trimmed, they will fit nicely.
