GREENSBORO, North Carolina – DUM, Inc. announces its newly signed licensing agreement with Hemptown Clothing, Inc.
The agreement will allow DUM, Inc. to print and distribute licensed Hemptown designs with DUM, Inc.'s current clothing line.
"The agreement is greatly welcomed on behalf of DUM, Inc. The addition of the designs will surely increase the number of markets DUM, Inc. sells to," said Michael Norbury, owner of DUM, Inc.
"This is the first time ever that Hemptown has licensed it's designs for specialty production, and I don't think we could have found a better company for this arrangement than Mr. Norbury and his group," stated Mr. Jerry Kroll, President and C.E.O. of Hemptown Clothing Inc. "We look forward to a long and mutually successful relationship, and will work together with DUM, Inc. to bring the very best of environmentally friendly and attractive clothing products to consumers everywhere."
Currently, DUM, Inc.'s customer base consists of novelty/tobacco accessory stores. The new sport oriented designs being acquired from Hemptown open the doors to retailers in the skate/snow/surf markets as well as potential for even more mainstream venues such as Banana Republic and the like.
Overall, the agreement is yet another major step for the growing agricultural industrial revolution. Hemp plays a vital role in the movement to move away from petroleum products with more environmentally friendly alternatives. Hemp has over 25,000 product uses many of them being cheaper, longer lasting versions of current petroleum products.
