Duct Fan Setting

Hello. I was wondering if anyone had some insight on what the duct fan should be set at. I’ve got a Vivosun setup and it can be set from 1-10. I’ve currently got it on 5 just because I’m not sure what it should be on. Plants seem to be doing well but I do have a bit of a humidity problem which I think could be a problem once they start to flower. Current readings inside the tent at 78 degrees, 76% humidity, 0.8 VPD. I got the little Vivosun dehumidifier in there but it doesn’t seem to be helping much. I just ordered the Spider Farmer one that stays outside the unit and ducts in. Hopefully this will help with not having the added heat in the tent that comes from the unit and it’s also for bigger sfage. But my question is does the duct fan play a role in any of this and should I have it going higher or lower than what I’ve got it set at right now (5/10)?

Assuming the duct fan vents outside of the tent/space, then yes it will have a role in all of those things. If you feel your humidity is too high, try turning the duct fan up to see if it can relieve the problem.

The higher the fan is set, the faster it will remove air out of the space, which will also remove some humidity and temperature with it.

Do you have the app where you can set the automation levels. Here is the ac infinity. I set threshold temp and humidity settings. Its nice to not have static settings makes too much work for you. Setting are based on temp/humidity at the phase your grow is in, so your inline settings depends on the grow, not just a random setting…..
