Drying light on or off?

Greetings fellow farmers I’m in the last week or two into flower and would like your opinion. When I start to harvest should I cut trim whole plant and hang in tent with light off or on? Or should I cut and trim branches and hang in tent with lights off or on?

Lights off after you chop - you want your produce to hang in the dark. Fan moving air in the tent but not blowing directly on your harvest. Monitor temp and rh

Definitely lights out. You'll get a slower cure if you pull the entire plant and just hang it upside down. I personally prefer to leave the shade leaves on the plant and trim them off later, that also extends drying/cure time. Some people like to remove the fan leaves before drying, kind of a personal choice, it also depends on if you're in a humid area and have mold worries, then I would take the fan leaves off and possibly cut the branches off too.
