dry question....

today i start the dry step,MY question is : i hang up all of them in part of a closet (darkness ).
what i need to be attention except of the darkness ?
when i open the door is freshness is it ok?
i need to pot ther ventilate or what?

and for how long i need to dry them

Darkness and air circulation are key. Dry until the stems snap cleanly when bent, then into jars for curing.
