dry ice?

Can you drop dry ice in water, in a closet, to provide good co2 for your plants? Id imagine it'd be good for your plants as long as you keep the cold away from them. Could a fan or two, along with a cup of water that contains dry ice, and good temperature control result in denser, more potent buds???? Would it be healthy to do this every couple days in a closet grow??

done it not very economical seeing a 10lb block will cost $1.09/lb and last 1hr per lb. so great co2 level while it survives, but gone to fast to make it worth while, IMHO
