Drcannabi's KIS Organics Recycled Soil - HSO Loast Coast OG - LED Grow

Great advice Conradino! Makes sense what you say about potency too. If the strawberries and cream end up potent and pleasing (not all potent strains are pleasing) I believe It will be like winning the lottery. The smell and taste are absolutely exquisite and the yields is looking to be fantastic too. Looks (bag appeal) is of the charts. Please be potent and pleasing :)

Great to see you friend!

Another great update doc! Gorgeous buds & very healthy plants. Noticed no fade at all even at pretty late stage. Every strain looks so good hard to pick out a favorite.
:goodjob:

It seems odd to me as well that there is no fade yet. In fact the LC OG is supposed to be finished in 2 weeks and it's leaves are super green and waxy. Since I haven't given them any N since veg I really expected to have a good fade. The only thing I can think is that the soil must have a good amount of N from the KIS Organics nutrient pack. These look like they'll be green all the way until chop which is not my preference. Anyhow since no bottled or salt nutes were used, the taste should be outstanding :) :Namaste::thumb:

Your growing talent make indoor organics look easy. It's not as easy as I often read some say it is. My most talented grower pal grows organic outdoors but not indoors. When I started indoors, I asked him why & all he said was "too hard". He told me to stay w/ organics outside but go synthetics indoors. He tried to dissuade me, but I didn't listen. I better understand what he meant now. Same principles but lots of different variables & challenges. Agree with you that "pure" organic tastes the very best, but mostly organic w/ some non organic ingredients can taste about as good. Same friend produces fine tasting indoor herb using synthetics (but it's slightly different in taste....you know what I mean). Sorry I'm rambling...had another big cup of canna-bulletproof coffee.:passitleft:

You can ramble here anytime brightlight! Even when rambling there's all sorts of little knowledge nuggets in there.

I know what you mean about indoor organics. Organic growing is dirty. I always have something going in the vortex brewer. EWC and bat poop all over the place. Not nearly as bad since moving to liquid budswell. However, Compost stinks lol and making your own soil is hard work and super dusty/dirty. It's very rewarding, but keeping the grow area clean is a lifetime commitment hehe. :high-five:

I dunno Dr! My organic life is pretty simple and clean! Water, feed, repeat lol :)

Don't you guys make your own soil and foliar feed? That's never easy or clean lol :) :thumb:

I love just add water (my soil is supposed to be just add water), but I just can't stay away from the AACT brewer and BSM hehehe. :thumb:

Yessir! But once the soil is built it's just a matter of maintenance! And our sprays are, mix 2 mils with 2 ounces of water and spray. Dump leftovers :)

And ive had the same soil for over 2 years...with a few things

I think all organic growing including Hi brix is much harder than bottled nute growing. This is why our buds are so much better than everyone else's lol. We work for it lol. Organics for the win my friend. :circle-of-love:

High Brix :)

We are awesome! I'd hug myself if I could lol. :thumb: Love them organic buds ziggs! COORGANICS told me once you go organics you'll never go back. He was right. Once I knew the truth for myself, I was converted. I wish everyone could experience it.

Thanks for the pics guys! :thanks:

Same here except I only feed once per plant. Then again, my yields are light compared to most folks here.

The floor is only messy when I transplant. I can't blame that on the plants or the organic soil :)

I couldn't resist a picture:

Thanks Radogast! Awesome picture my friend. I believe we are some of the best growers on the planet! I'm blessed to have folks like you guys I can constantly learn from.

I just tried a little test bud of Lost Coast OG. This is what I look for in a hybrid. Body stone, mind awake, no paranoia. Strong but smooth. the taste is actually a very nice og taste. Kerosene and caramel. Now let's all send good vibes to her so she starts putting on some weight.:thumb:

Are you aware of the bud backbuilding technique popularized here by Light Addict?
It's very simple. At about 2/3 of the way through flower (6 weeks) snip about 3 hairs and a tiny bit of flower off the tip of your buds. This causes the buds to widen and become denser - shorter and fat vs longer and thin. It's more of a bag appeal, bud density technique than something to increse yield.

Until you mentioned putting on weight, I had misfiled this technique. I'm going to start doing this again. :)
