I love it! You are a good man cannatard. I love your commitment to high brix! Your passion is undeniable. One thing I'm wondering is can you reproduce the high brix beauty without doc buds kit. I'm already dependent on the KIS nutrient pack and don't want to change dependencies ie, I want to learn enough to do it like Conradino! He's high brix but completely self reliant. That's really where I want to be my friend. No disrespect intended. High brix is the goal, I'm just taking a different road than you are. No better, just different. I love every grow I've seen with doc buds kit! It is the bomb :Love::cheertwo::circle-of-love:
 
My plants have been at 16-19 Brix last season, and I'm gonna push it up with time. Good soil makes all the difference, but you can get there by taking the right direction. I don't use the kit it's true, however Doc Bud was enormous help by showing the way to go :thumb:

Your grows and techniques are beyond reproach. I may already be high brix lol, cause my soil is absolutely top 10.

Do you wash your buds? I never have because I don't foliar feed in bloom. My environment is also extremely clean. I assume you foliar feed throughout the life of the plant? Essential oils and other topicals?

I've always wanted to try it. I think this go round I'm def going to wash at least a few and do an A vs B test. How do you do it? Specifics are MUCH appreciated! I'll have some Q's I'm sure :)


This is for everyone. I was taste testing a 6 week HSO LCOG and found this??? Any clues as what it is? Ive checked all plants for stamens and balls - nothing there that my eye can see. It looks like an immature seed which has me worried. The LCOG is coming down soon, but the rest of them have a couple weeks. Don't want seeded MMJ. Thanks in advance friends :thanks:

Here's a group shot and a few pics of the White S1 Pheno 2 - Frost Monster

These buds are really starting to purple up. I cut a branch today and we'll see what she has to offer in a few days. I've cut way too many branches off this round lol. Probs already smoked a good Oz and have another drying. I can't help myself. I have plenty from previous grown that are dank but something about these ladies has me constantly cutting, smelling, looking, tasting, etc... I've got a problem lol!

i may be funny :!9:, its a true story. :)

as far as the washing instructions..Doc buds recipe is best by me. Here is bud wash thread. different folks do slight variations of wash
Bud Washing

i now use..
1 cup Baking soda
1 cup lemon juice. (bottled is fine)
3 x 5 gallon buckets (food grade- the house deepot ;) orange buckets are them)

fill will cool water
dissolve baking soda and lemon juice in same bucket.
use the other buckets for rinse

i have used another 4th bucket filled with water as a prewash..but its not necessary if your produce is relatively clean.
swish the stems for 20-30 seconds in each bucket..hang to dry..

i use a salad spinner to remove excess water from buds not on stems. :thumb:

Here's the HSO Lost Coast OG. My Favorite testers so far. Taste is a solid 8 and the high is right up there too. Kerosene and Carmel flavor. Smell is all OG. The high is super motivating with a great head and body duet. NO paranoia. Pure bliss! This is my first HSO seed and I'm quite impressed. Yield will be small, but it's OG and all OG plants I've grown yield low. I estimate 3-4 zips.

BTW- all these plants are at 50 days flower.

I'm looking FWD to my first bud wash!!! That bud is the closest to the door and I rub up on it all the time. Now I see what you mean. :thumb:This cannot be a coincidence LOL!
 
Here's the White S1 Pheno 1. This gal really has some nice buds. Biggest of the grow. Not much going on in the smell dept, but her looks are out of this world!

Dayum dude!! It's a beauty pageant up in here. Those plants are stunning.

Previous grow, my blue cheese had a green immature seed. Only found the one though. I let the other 2 plants go another 2 weeks after I chopped the blue cheese. Not a seed in sight. I think you are good.
