Drcannabi's KIS Organics Recycled Soil - HSO Loast Coast OG - LED Grow

Blaze any questions on anything HSO just pm me and I'll ask them :)

Thank you LA,

Not speaking for Blaze here but I'd love to know if HSO and ETs LC OG is the same genetics. Is very hard to tell with HSOs description.
:thanks:

Cool, I can't give a timeline on email replies from them as they're both quite busy, as you might guess, mind you I also speak with a couple other HSO folk lower down and will enquire! At the worst I'll be spending time with the HSO team in Spain in march so If all else fails I'll simply catch them then and can then shoot any questions anyone has at them. They're such lovely guys, you wouldn't know they were so huge. (Apart from getting emails back late lol) :)

I absolutely love talking strains. I'm a nerd like that.

What were the effects of LC-OG like? Couchlock...50/50... or cerebral? I'm liking hybrids with noticeable sativa and indica effects. Would you recommend the Cherry OG over the LC-OG? I have both in my wishlist on Bonza.

Outdoor ET LC plants were the same ea. yr.....active, vibrant, social high to go along w/ strong but relaxing calm type indica characteristics. NOT couch lock at all. I'd recommend both Blaze...LC is along the lines of CC Chem91 (whatever it truly is IDK) but less potent. Cherry kinda reminded me more of what I can faintly recall a pure Thai high being like. Confident you'll be glad if you bought both.:Namaste:

Awesome of you to reach out for us :):thumb::thanks:

Thanks guys. LA, my question is the same as Doc Cannabi's. Would be great to hear from HSO on this. Although, I would understand if they prefer to keep specifics about genetics a little closer to the chest. While searching for a worthy OG Kush (and finally settling on ET), I came across a discussion with the owner of Emerald Triangle. That was very interesting. Let me see if I can find it again.

Brightlight, thanks for the descriptions bud. It is much appreciated. I think I might try both. LOL!

Hey there Doc - sheesh I go away to work come back and missed a discussion on organics FTW AND genetics... wow very nice. Oh and BTW nice buds there buddy. I see you've been greening, whiting, and purpling up the flower room, very nice. :thumb:

Love those frosty buds you have going, your training is working mighty fine. Go buddy go... get some cola monsters. yeah u right! :cheertwo: Cant wait for the taste test. Don't forget me I'm right down here in my bean bag chair a little to the left of center. :passitleft::yummy:

Hi Bo,

Organics FTW :thumb: I'm no expert like you but I sure am enjoying the learning process. This go round I've used more budswell and BSM than in the past and have also incorporated some AACTs with compost on top of EWC.

These plants are rediculous. The frost is unbelievable on The White S1's. I had a little early toke on pheno 2 and she tastes and smells amazing. Tastes like grape hash and smells like skunky grape jelly lol. Unfortunately, this weed is very knock you down weed. It was an overwhelming stone where I couldn't think straight and didn't want to leave the couch. Lucky for me I had a nice bud of the strawberries and cream all dried and ready to treat my head in the ground High lol.

Good to see you brother!

Hi Brother!

Thanks for stopping bye the neighborhood. It's getting close now. Tomorrow makes 7 weeks and some of these branches are beginning to swell really nicely. As you can tell by my earlier post, I'm not a big fan of the frost monster white s1 pheno 2. Smell andand taste are great but the high is a bit too rough right now. I'm going to let it go full term and get a bit of amber on her to see if I can get her to smooth out, because right now it doesn't have much medicinal use.

oh wow sounds like my kind of medicine :circle-of-love:

i can totally see the reasoning behind what you're doing tho, i'm sure it will get where you want it to be :)
:Namaste:

lol. This one is confusing and unsettling doubt you'd like it. It's not the type that knocks you out and is Narcotic. I love those kind hehehe. This one doesn't make you sleepy at all. It makes you a statue lol. :circle-of-love::cheertwo:

LOL! I can see it now... Doc staring at the floor for hours without even blinking. It will get better after another 2 weeks and a good cure. The sour chiesel sample i took had a similar effect. Now it is much better, with a more complex high.

Technically all cuts of OG Kush come from the line imported to SoCal in the 90's from Florida as B-Real keeps saying and few other growers claim the same. This LA bunch claims it was called Crippy there which is how famous Colombian hybrid composed of local landrace sativa and Afghan import was called in the 80's-90's, but we don't know if it's the same for sure.

Now this story is different from the old myth that says it was an S1 seed from Chemdawg '91 but I tend to believe it less and less cause these plants are different. I actually never grew Chemdawg '91 or Chemdawg #4 but I grew original OG Kush from S1 seed which I got from a SoCal friend, and I saw the pictures, and they are completely different. I also keep a hybrid called Ultra Dog or UltraDawg in my private stock which is composed of mostly OG/Chemdawg '91 genetics, and the high is definitely different from OG Kush.

Now both of these have some powerful landrace sativa inside. OG Kush might be Thai influenced cause first hour is very trancey while indica relaxation comes on later. Chemdawg '91 on the other hand might have Colombian influence or both, I'd like to put my hands on the original clone to check it out. But then most of what is offered on the seed market is just a knockoff or another hybrid for which creating one of the cuts was used :Namaste:

OGK is supposed to be Chemdawg x Lemon Thai x Pakistani. That would seem to align with what you said. So when you choose which breeder to go with, for me, it all hinges on the chemdawg and wether or not the breeder actually has a legitimate cut. Please bare in mind that I am no breeder and my opinion is based purely on what I've read.

Yes, that's how it is exactly, and most of them lie all the time :Namaste:

Yep since getting in to the scene a little more in depth and learning a good deal on the industry, I can confirm what's being said. There are only a good few of the seed companies actually breeding their own stuff! Most indeed just buy on mass and re label and name to push as a new product! It has ruined the market in so many ways for the uninformed genetics wise!
I personally now will only be working for the main part with a few main breeders products, ones I know personally and therefore I know exactly what I'm getting and where it came from! (Real breeders of their own work!)

LA, what is your take on DNA Genetics? They are my personal favourite, although I have only tried about 8 different breeders. I have a feeling that if Sannies seeds were more readily available, then they might be my top choice.

Do yourself a favour bud, and run some of their gear... oh wait...I forgot that you're sponsored. My bad.

Carry on my wayward son. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Seed sponsorship is me doing them a favour trust me! For a few beans they get free advertising on a big scale with a platform that stays accessible over time! We ALL need to remember there are so many seed companies out there and they make a ton of money, so what's a few beans for the exchange of any of us journaling their strains and showing their products off? I could walk round and score no end of free strains at the expos, but don't! I like to chat to the breeders etc and see who I get on with and who I believe in with their own approach or philosophy ;)
