Double/Triple Infusion

Morning all! I don't if this has been discussed here (can't find it in searches), but I've seen it mentioned elsewhere. Is it possible to double or triple infuse oil (pretty sure it is), and if so, has anyone tried it? Are there additional concerns or tips and tricks? Do you need to add additional emulsifiers for each additional run? Is there substantial loss in potency after a while?

I know this really comes down to the saturation rate of the carrier more than anything, but wanted to see what other people had discovered. (Using MTC)

I regularly re-infuse infused oil as I need quite a strong dose. My normal is to infuse 1/2 cup of coconut oil with 20 grams of bud. Then I re-infuse the oil with 20 more grams of bud along with a top up of the oil to bring it back to 1/2 cup being infused.

The only tip I have is that it's easier to strain if you grind your bud finely rather than coarsely.
