Doses eaten vs smoked

High Folks!

I am trying to find a study or a recent book that I can show to my Doctor about the amounts needed . I am on 5 grams smoked right now, but I want my doctor to increase the dose since I know it takes more to get the same results when eating it. In an old book put out by the ARF in Toronto (1971) says it is about 3-1 the ratio. I am looking for studies that deny or confirm that. I hve tried to make some of mine in to butter but when I do, I end up with not enough medicine to smoke and I go back to no pain relief (with the weight loss and lack of sleep the pain gives me). Can anyone help?

He is a research scientist at the University of Washington in Seattle. He has a couple books out and lots of peer reviewed articles. You might try giving his office in Chehalis a call. He is a very nice man, have met him a couple times. He's the only doctor in our state that is willing to get in the witness stand and testify as to his research.
Dosing is still in the very early stages of research. There are so manu factors that can play into trying to figure out dosing in a medical enviorment that its daunting.

Thanks, This is exactly what I need in order to talk to my doctor with more up to date information than a book put out by ARF in 1971.
