Teleon! I really enjoyed reading the journal and seeing that custom light you started with. I was looking at those exact same Chips for a potential build.

I think it's your light man. .

Problem is, they are nearly half effectiv than those Samsung LM301B. And I like to safe some money, especially when it's just wasted heat. So in my opinion these China COB's are really okay, but in terms of effectivity they arent the best choice.

Sure, no plant love's to have cold roots. But thats not the problem. But the main problem is the lack of knowledge and practice... Hope it still be a good result

Maybe u should go for some heat mats?

Heat mats heat the very bottom of the pot. If you turn them up high enough to heat the whole pot you will burn the roots at the bottom. That's why they work best with seedlings whose pots have very little mass.

Tonight I improved my Temp/Humidity Sensor with a proper antenna. Works just fine - @CraZysWeeD told me to stream some movies for the lady's now, I would prefer some Beethoven

Flower Day 19

Good news, all in all they look better now - i raised up the light and they love it! No hanging leaves any more.

I also did a "lot" of pruning today, just removed the leaves on the branches to node 2-3. Looks more tidy now

Tomorrow they will get some nutes - but I will also check the runoff water after water them, mostly to check the pH of the soil.

I don't think that runoff gives you a true picture of the soil's pH. Slurry testing is the way to check the pH of your soil:

Thought that would give a good result - yeah not the exact one, but u can do something with it.... In my hardware store i could get a pH soil tester - Neudorff Soil pH Test

I think the slurry test is what gives you the exact pH of your soil. Test strips aren't as precise as a good calibrated pH meter.

These arent test stripes - but u only have a color to work with.
