Dog shampoo for spidermite

So pyrethrum is expensive but works well and the pyrethrum 5ec is a 5% solution you mix at 0.02%

My dog shampoo is cheap and is pyrethrum based at 0.04%

The other active ingredients in the dog shampoo are the same as the plants version

I am guessing these numbers relate to the mixed up dose in dog shampoo


Would you mix the stated dose 30ml with 300ml water to get the dose and use that ? Or would you use that mix to make up another bottle with 30ml a litre or so ?

Shal I just spray it at the diluted rate for a Shepard lol ?

But me trees are more like Shepard’s hahahah stalks are as wide as toilet roll cardboard lol or as wide as no there bigger than my Shepard’s dose

Pyrethrin is pyrethrin. Start with chihuahua AKA half strength. If that won't kill them off in a few days up the concentration. Just plain soapy water hits there numbers pretty hard. Concentrate on the under side of the leaves and any surfaces under the plant. After killing them all rinse the plant really good with PH water and plenty of fans to dry her off.

So really dog shampoo has less and the ingredients I can’t find one with plant harm but I can with some in the 5ec haha and that’s safe
