Does resin go bad?

I was helping my pack his stuff before we headed to my place when we came across an old resin stash from one or two years ago, well we smoked it but then I thought about how resin is organic so it can decompose and I'm wondering if it does go bad. Is it anything we should be concerned with? Or at most maybe a little under the weather.

I've had rosin in the freezer for over seven months before use. It was still as potent as when I first pressed it. I don't know if rosin stored at room temperature maintains it's quality, even if sealed. I don't think rosin degrades into poison if left too long. Some of the THC will be converted to CBN through oxidation, so it may be best for night use.

As I understand it, it degrades the THC as it oxidizes. The process of oxidation can usually be retarded by cool temps.

I still have water hash in a jar over a year old and it still smokes and looks the same as the day it was fully dry after making it.

I've got some white widow rosin I pressed about 2 years ago now that I still will take a dab of occasionally, just doesn't produce the same high but it won't hurt you!

That's good to know, my mate wouldn't let me ask a doctor (he's paranoid affff) so knowing that we won't be going the way of the dodo is relieving.

I like to store mine in a mason jar. In the dark of my basement. You could always vac seal it as well
