Do these trimmed buds look ok?

First timer, lots of issues during the grow and the buds are not very compact or dense. Will this improve when the cure?

Also, do they look ok? While trimming for a few hours the room started smelling like anomia. Perhaps it was just the cut plants or perhaps not fully dry?

They have been hanging for 9 days in at 57-58rh and 67-68 degrees. I did put some in a paper bag after day 3 and jarred those yesterday. The RH in the jar is 58-59 so I'm assuming it's dry?

Main thing is I don't want to smoke something that can be dangerous.

Thanks!

Now that you put the buds in jars, you have to cure them for 4-8 weeks and burp them. Do you have Boveda packs in your jars?

Yes boveda packs and to the burping

I say your good. The smell should go away or at least change and become a better smell as the cure goes along.

Thanks! As a first timer I'm not sure what is right or wrong at this point ha. I'm excited to smoke after the cure. Of course I had to sample a little bit yesterday;)

I had some last year that smelled like hay at first. Some people said it wouldn’t go away, but after a few weeks it did.

Whilst we are on this subject, the phrase "that's good shit!" does not remotely refer to bud curing practices involving putting a quantity of animal dung into curing vessels.
