Do any of you grow peppers or green onions in the tent?

I am thinking about growing peppers or green onions in the tent. I was thinking about jalapenos then I read that green onions also help with repelling pests in the tent. Does anyone grow peppers or green onions in the tent with your plants on there?

No but heard garlic helps too

I want to try vegetables this year inside coco light feedings daily .

I have green onions in 6 of the 18 pots in my flowering tent. Not sure they do much to repel gnats or thrips, but thought: “hey why not” lol

I have had a nasty infestation of gnats and some thrips, maybe I should look for thrips on those 6 plants and see, maybe they were repelled from that area of the tent lol

I’ve yet to do it, but it is a common gardening technique.

For a part of pest management, peppers aren’t going to do it. Look up on google about pest deterring plants and see what you find. I put marigolds out in my veggie garden, along with others.

I grow marigold's and onions in my tents but I keep neem oil and mosquito bits as well as diatomaceous earth handy.

Mosquito bits and diatomaceous earth break the breeding cycle of a lot of pests. Neem can take out the flyers.

I’ve thought hard about doing it, just haven’t. I think I even mentioned it as an option in a thread I started on pest management once.

I have been fortunate that my preventative measures have been working well without it so far.
