Deformed Clone bush plant

Ok, took some clones a few weeks back, most of them turned out great, the plants are standing 18 inches tall, and doing well., all except 1. The plant itself is doing well, it is green and growing but it is only getting one or 2 leaf growth and is only about 7 inches tall, and the nodes are so close together that you would swear the thing is some sort of bush. any ideas on what might be going on here?? I will try to post some pics of it in a bit, but it is the weirdest plant I have ever seen
