Cuttings too wet?

G-day All, I took my cuttings and put them in rockwool, trimed leaved, clonex and 24 hr light. I put the rockwool in 4' cups with good soil and watered. They all died. Can the soil be to wet? When i pulled out the dead cutting... it was brown and dead on the last 1/2'' of cutting. Should I be using the rockwool over each time? Iv tried 3 times on the same rockwool cube. Thanks

Re: cuttings to wet?

No use a new cube for every cutting. Take your cuttings and leave in just rockwool in a container that will help hold humidity like a tray and a dome. Can be 2 glad containers one flipped on top of the other. Should take 2-3 weeks for roots then move into soil.
