The International Cannabidiol Organization of Manufacturers and Research (ICOMR) have released an independent laboratory test on the constituents of Royal Hemp (RH), a new CBD retailer which is actually an offshoot of Flamaret, (FLRE) a manufacturer of flame retardants. ICOMR purchased RH CBD 30ml liquid dropper from the retailer's website. This product claims to contain 200mg of CBD in each 30ml bottle. However, after consecutive tests conducted by Iron Laboratories (IL) it was concluded that Royal Hemp CBD contains NO CBD and only 0.0300mg per bottle, of THC. Absolutely no CBD was detected by IL during their testing of the product.
IL and ICOMR neither received "technical information provided by Flamaret Inc. or Royal Hemp Corporation" nor was any "lab testing information" provided by Flamaret Inc or Royal Hemp Corporation. RH claims their product is "high CBD hemp oil" however lab testing proves otherwise. The RH CBD 30ml bottle containing no CBD costs $40 plus shipping and handling. Flamaret, owner of RH announced earlier this year that they were entering the cannabidiol retail industry with a product that "includes about 1/10 of 1% THC (.1%), well beyond the legal threshold for THC content in the United States." which is ten times the amount of THC found by IL.
John Meredith, chief financial officer for Flameret, said: "We are thrilled that we can deliver this news to the marketplace. Flameret now has an exciting product available for purchase and we are cautiously optimistic about the commercial potential of Cannadol. We are now one of only a handful of companies in the world selling hemp oil rich in CBD and we will launch our second CBD product by the end of September 2014."
Meredith continued: "We expect many calls from our shareholders and investors throughout the world asking about sales estimates on Cannadol(TM). Although we expect significant interest, we will not provide any sales estimates at this time. We will be introducing an additional CBD product to the marketplace in September." RH is a Colorado-based corporation designed to "market and sell hemp based nutraceuticals, industrial products and consumer goods in the United States and throughout the world."
In September of 2014, Flameret unveiled Cannasone "a hemp cream rich in CBD" to be sold in 8oz bottles and infused with 200mg of CBD derived from industrial hemp." If the skin crème is anything like the 30ml CBD bottle dropper tested by IL, this product may be another scheme to sell snake oil to customers. In addition to the not so infused with CBD dropper and "hemp rich" skin crème, Flameret is also offering customers flame-resistant hemp cloth made with "the company's proprietary, odorless, non-staining and bio-degradable flame retardant."
Meredith commented on the flame-resistant hemp cloth: "Hemp has always been grown in Europe and I am glad to see that the climate is beginning to change in the United States which is clearly demonstrated by the reference to the growing of hemp in the 2014 United States Farm Bill. There is a large and untapped market for a hemp fabric that is resistant to flame and our announced test results clearly show that Flamex works well on hemp fabric. We are pleased that we can deliver these results to our shareholders."
