The Plant is obviously in shock, I would stop using any fertilizers at this point and do NOT over water leave the soil just slightly damp! If it survives you will be lucky, but there are several reasons why leaves fold downward, i.e. over fertilizing, over watering, root bound, extreme cold.... and many others! if it is a young plant chances are it won't survive, depending how long before you remedy the situation and how long it's been in that condition depends on if it lives. get some books there are several good ones out by Ed Rosenthal, Jorge Cervantes etc. they will provide you with good growing skills if just starting out.

the plant is pretty old a friend gave it to me,and that mainly why i stress.I believe it is starting to bud, heck the thing is 3 feet tallor larger.i had it outside then i was to paranoid cause too many people could steal it here.I moved it inside to lock it up.I am using a 4 ft light for lizards, and a 23 watt CFL light w/a 14 inch fan to cool it.the weather is extremly hot and dry.I will try to post a pic although i am not sure how i will try to figure out.Thank you for post i think if i just water less it should be fine(I got my fingers crossed)

....I am using a 4 ft light for lizards...

Reptile lights are NOT suited for growing. Suffice to say that this light is throwing off much more heat than light in a spectrum the plant can use. Your leaves are most likely curling because this light is slowly cooking them. Not to mention the overall lack of light coverage on a 3 foot tall plant using only one 23w CFL.

I have two lights a 23w cfl then the 4ft light.is there a bulb i could place in the fixture to not produce heat as much although i dont think that the ligth is hot enough.it isnt a heat light it was only use to simulate day and night light for the liz to have a cycle, that is the only reason i used it.I do not turn it on at night though.

I would get rid of that light altogether and add more CFL's. :peace:

sweet i got paid today so i guess i am off to home depot to get a few thank you for you're reply i really appreciate it.
If your on a budget Home depot will have to do, get as many white flouresent tubes as possible, although the best light in flouresent would be a T5 with the HO type bulbs that are 54watts each. if you can swing 100 bucks get you a cheaper 2 or 4 bulb T5 flouresent system from a Hydroponics store online shop around because prices swing up and down depending on how hard up for money the Hydro store is and where they are located! don't be hasty, plants that size are very strong survivers after all it is a weed.

Good Luck and deffinetly do away with the lizard light it is not benificial to the plant in any way shape or form.
