Would you comment on this leaf curl?
It is curling along the center vein.
Medicine Man at 3 weeks Veg.
In All-Mix with very little nutes at this point.
Under 1000w lights.
Foliar weekly with Nitrozine and Penetrator but not had this before.
In Appreciation,,,, LUCY in the Pacific NW

temps are fine, it's finally cooled down in the Pacific NW. room runs 72-80, but had been in the low 80's.
No, it is happening to a few, like 4 out of 24

I'll do that.
Also, I am looking at the heat issue again. Possibly, i foliar feed too close to the lights coming on...it was about an hour and a half.
FOLIAR FEEDERS.........when do you foliar feed?

i had a couple like that a few times it was just too hot and i gave em a bit much tomato food that week they grew awesomely but they wont keep up like that the burn will setin soon if somethings not changed to cool em down

Soil was probably damp. if anything we tend to over water.
now it is day three and the leaves are still curled but not as much and i think they are OKI>>> the only thing really different was the foliar maybe too close to when the lights came on...and i am going to go with that so heat was the issue in combo with the foliar feeding.

Had the foliar feeding around the light "cut on" time been an issue I'd think you'd have some brown spots or foliar burn. I'm thinking its more of a heat thing and its about time time starting integrating nutes into the watering regimen. But if it were aheat issue that can mean 1 of 2 things I can think of. 1) Perhaps these are the runts and have a particularly hard time dealing with the heat (like Ms. Fox suggested)

Damn I'm high and forgot #2,lol. Hope u figure it out. I'm in no condition to keep tryna brainstorm.

I don't know I have a starin that the leaves seem to curl no matter what. The mother or her 'kids' they all curl like that.

Just caught up to this thread... sorry to give a late opinion.
I've foliar fed, and I live in a very hot and bright climate. I've heat burned my babies on several occasions by doing some stupid move or another. Your babies don't look at all like my sunburn victims.

I actually have a photo or two from my grow that shows a great water induced sunburn Sunburn1 Sunburn2

Your damage does not look to me to be a sunburn... tho it does look to me like it might be a heat issue.

Cheers!

i have a couple of the bottom leaves on mine doing the same thing not bad but unsure what it is i think mine may have been a nute lockout but they never uncurld.

you said your ph is between 6.2 and 6.5 well you need it to be 6.3 dead on. Let your water mix for a hour and make sure it is at 6.3 ( 6.3 for dirt 5.8 for hydro or coco)
If your using dirt I would strongly recommend using humic and fulvic acid Fulvic Acid | Advanced Nutrients Grandma Enggy F1 | Hydroponic Gardening Fulvic Acid and Humic Acid | Humic Acid Grandma Enggy H2 | Advanced Nutrients Humic Acid | Humic Acid for Growing Plants use it with every feeding and keep your ph 6.3 dead on and you will be amazed with the results in health and quailty if you want me to recommend a good feeding line let me know ....
