YARMOUTH - The Crown has withdrawn a marijuana possession charge
against Brad Roberts, singer for the band Crash Test Dummies. A court
clerk confirmed the move but didn't reveal the reason. The
Chronicle-Herald, quoting an unnamed source, said the charge was
withdrawn last week after Mr. Roberts donated $300 to a Yarmouth
non-profit agency. Mr. Roberts, 36, of Winnipeg was charged after a
small amount of pot in a bag was allegedly seen protruding from one of
his pockets.
