So I’m growing autos , I’m in week 4 and noticed some thrips , I used natural stuff and I think I used too much because the next day the leaves were burnt an orange colour
I looked to see if it’s rust and apparently if you rub the leaf The rust goes onto you’re finger
So that wasn’t the case
They were due for a feed so in case of nute burn I gave them ph’d water with no nutes
Now the leaves are curling ( even inward ) but the burns are slowly going away
Any help on the matter would be appreciated
Like anyone I don’t want my time wasted with all the effort I’ve put into these plants but I understand that at the end of the day it’s just a learning curve ! 17A6C2A7-EFB5-4004-8F84-87FBBE88DDC5.jpeg

Hello and welcome. First off natural light for photos helps alot to determine what's going on. It's hard to get a good look with everything being purple.
What are you ph'ing your water to? What exactly did you spray on them and what was the ratio used?

PH water 5.5-6.0
The bottle didn’t have ingredients or anything listed in the back just a weird name
It was just a spray bottle

okay what stuff ? how natural ?

plants clawed. if you killed the little buggers the plants will come back.

if they are still around you might wanna consider another type of attack. thrips have a life cycle like many winged pests. you usually have to apply treatment for up to 3 wks to get the first wave, then the babies...

Yeah, they're not look so hot. This is only after one application? Can we get a run down of your set up? Medium, light, nutes etc.
I've only had a pest problem once and I used mint oil and water solution. Sprayed every night right before lights out for a week. Haven't had problem since.

Sounds to me you may have sprayed your plants with your lights on and toasted your foliage. If so only put sprays on when lights will be off avoid the burn hope this helps im an outdoor guy so indoor isnot my bag.
