Concept's Bubble Closet - 8 Plants - 400w - Unknown Strain

New Member
Hey guys, welcome to my new journal. This will be my fourth grow and my second attempt at hydro. My first grow was hydro and ended in week 2 of flowering due to nute lockout and a bad case of root rot. I switched to soil and learned and am back again to try hydro. Kinda a test to see if I want to grow hydro or soil for my next grow which will be considerably larger.

This will feature 8 clones of an unknown strain
It is a hybrid strain although I don't know anything else about it
The plants started Sept 24th
They have vegged now for 1 week
Flowering was started Oct 4th
Harvest should be around Nov 26th
This is an indoor DWC hydro
Closet is 1.5 x 3 x 4 (lwh)
Lighting is an air cooled 400w HID
Room temperature is aprox 90*
No pests or growths at this time
I'm using SensiGrow/Bloom

Hope you enjoy :Namaste:

thats crazy mate, i think your going to have light penetration problems, if it was me id start removing some leaves to let more light in, have a read about defoliation methods, theres a few journals on here, bassman is know for his defo method, if it was me id start removing a few fan leaves so the plant is getting light to all bud sites, problem is its best not to do this till after the plant has finished stretching, id try and locate bassman's journal in the current journals list and drop him a msg and ask him to come and have a look

A mod can close this or w/e you guys do.

This grow is now being moved to here 3rd Grow: Outdoor Hempy/Soil Grow - Blue Planet Nutrients - Foxfarm Soil <Current>. Security concerns have made me move outdoors, but outdoors also brings a new realm of expansion! Take a look, going for a new idea for the journal. I think people will find it easier and more enjoyable to read and follow along. It will also feature some other cool things, like outdoor hempy (personally I couldn't find anyone who did it), fully organic, blue planet nutrients, 1 week veg times, and a more rare kind of environment. Starting plants in November to be harvested in January, can it be done? Come watch!

A conclusion for those of you who might be following. I chopped the plants roots out of the cups and transplanted to soil, risky move I know, but it seems the plants have handled it fine. I'm sure yield will be greatly effected, but these guys where more of a learning grow than actually being meant to yield something.

The Goal: I wanted to see if I tried hydro again with my new knowledge would the grow be successful. From my experience I feel I sure have learned a lot and that this grow would have been not only successful but possibly impressive (being that it was hydro and had 177w/sq ft and was being treated correctly this time). I made a few more mistakes this time but again I have learned. I now feel comfortable to spend some actual money on hydroponics and start a full hydro grow soon.

Thank you for your help and support, I hope you join me with my new adventure.
