Composting Coco Coir with worms

Has anyone tried composted Coco coir. I started a block in late November. It's just about ready to be sifted and used for some clones(currently rooting).

I used 1 block of coco, 5 gallon bucket of green waste from my house, 2 very large pumpkins, a dozen powered eggshells, and about 3 lbs of worms in a half 55 gallon barrel.

The coco has definitely changed. The worms love it.

Any constructive comments?

Great idea.

I wonder it that works with used Coco, I wood think the bacteria break down the left over fertilizer then the worms take control for a while.

Then likely can use that vermi-compost to grow organically! What a great idea.

That works for sure. I've done that with Tomatoes grown in coco and vermiculite. Grows even better in year 2.

I'm trying to get a solid ph and calcium (eggshell power for worm grit). Eliminates a couple nutrients I won't have to buy and nature at its finest.
